How translation works.

Every routine is translated into the languages you picked for your crew. You can add a language on any routine page — one of the ten listed, or type another (Nepali, Karen, K'iche' and so on).

The ten and the rest.

Routines translate into any language. The buttons and labels around them — "Ask", "I have read and understood", the station steps — are verified in ten languages: English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, Polish, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Somali. For any other language the routine is translated but those buttons show in English.

Words your crew uses.

Spanish routines use US workplace Spanish, the informal form, and the words crews use on the floor: cámara fría, drenaje, rines y llantas, tapetes. If a translation uses a word your crew doesn't, edit it — the edit is kept.

A translation failed.

Press "Translate" again on the routine page. If one language keeps failing, write to hello@tiendo.co with the routine title.
